About 15 miles out, the Cap Cana canyon walls drop from the shelf to over 2,000 feet — that drop-off concentrates baitfish and draws blue marlin, white marlin, mahi-mahi, and wahoo toward the edge. Mahi-mahi and wahoo run on both the 4-hour and 6-hour trip; the 6-hour reaches the canyon grounds where blue marlin is also possible in season. The Casa de Campo / La Romana fishing charter departs Marina Casa de Campo, includes round-trip private transportation from your hotel, and runs half-day ($1,300) or full-day ($1,800). Pick whichever marina and zone is closer to where you're staying.
All bookings are final. The only exception is a red flag issued by the Dominican Republic maritime authorities, in which case the charter does not go out and is refunded in full.
