How to Book a Private Yacht in Miami

1

Send your date, group size, and preferred route

WhatsApp or email. Include the occasion (birthday, corporate, anniversary) if relevant — it helps us match the right vessel size and captain.

2

Receive availability and final price within 2 hours

We send 2-3 vessel options with photos, capacity, and an all-in price. No hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.

3

Confirm with a 30% deposit

Paid by credit card or bank transfer. This locks your vessel, captain, and time slot. Balance is due 72 hours before departure.

4

Receive boarding instructions 24 hours before

Exact marina gate, slip number, parking instructions, and your captain's name and phone number.

5

Board and sail — nothing left to arrange

Arrive 15 minutes early. Your captain handles navigation, anchoring, and safety briefing. Ice and water are on board. Catering and decorations arranged in advance if requested.

When a Nauty 360 Charter is NOT the Right Choice

This service is not for you if:
  • You want a bareboat (self-skippered) rental. We only operate captained charters. Florida law requires a USCG license for commercial passenger vessels. Operating without one risks fines above $40,000.
  • Your budget is under $1,200 for 4 people. Per-person on a shared tour ($65-$120) is a better value for solo travelers or couples without a group to split costs.
  • You need same-day booking on a peak Saturday in February. We are typically fully booked 2-3 weekends ahead during high season. Contact us Tuesday for weekend availability.
  • Your group exceeds 13 guests. We cap every charter at 13 aboard — the USCG limit for vessels without special licensing. Larger events need a party boat operator with different USCG licensing.
  • You want to go to the Bahamas tomorrow. Bahamas-capable offshore charters require 5-10 days advance notice for customs paperwork, weather windows, and fuel planning.

Miami Yacht Rental — Common Questions

Private yacht charters in Miami start from $1,150 for a 4-hour charter on the 29 ft Hurricane (up to 10 guests) and rise to $5,900+ for the 70 ft Azimut. Mid-range options include the 40 ft Sea Ray (from $1,650/4h) and the 44 ft Sea Ray Sundancer (from $2,100/4h), both up to 13 guests. Every charter is capped at 13 guests under USCG limits, with captain, fuel and safety equipment included. Choose 4 or 6 hours; additional hours by quote.
Yes — all Nauty 360 Miami charters include a USCG-licensed captain. This is also a legal requirement: commercial passenger vessels operating in US waters must be commanded by a federally licensed operator under 46 CFR. Budget for a 15-20% tip ($120-$800 depending on charter cost) which is separate from the vessel rate and expected by convention.
November through April is Miami's nautical peak season: air temperatures 72-82°F, water temperatures 74-78°F, and easterly trade winds keeping seas calm in Biscayne Bay. Weekday charters in January or February offer the best combination of ideal weather and vessel availability. Avoid Miami Art Basel week (first week of December) and Memorial Day weekend — prices spike 20-35% and availability drops to near zero.
Our Miami fleet departs from several marinas — including Rickenbacker Marina (Key Biscayne), Venetian Marina, and the Miami River — depending on your vessel. Your exact departure point is confirmed via WhatsApp when you book.
Weekdays year-round: 48-72 hours is usually sufficient. Weekends November through April: book 2-3 weeks ahead. During Art Basel, Super Bowl weekends, and Memorial Day weekend: 4-6 weeks minimum for larger vessels. We always confirm availability within 2 hours of inquiry.
Yes. Most charters allow guests to bring their own food and beverages at no extra charge. We provide ice, a cooler, and cups. If you prefer catered service — a bartender, chef, or catering company — that is arranged as an add-on before departure. Florida law prohibits consuming alcohol on vessels by minors. Your captain enforces this.
